Harlem Congressman Charles Rangel will pay back thousands of dollars in back taxes for a vacation home he owns in the Dominican Republic.
This comes after news broke that he failed to report $75,000 in income on the property, which rents for $1,100 a night.
Rangel bought the home 20 years ago with a no-interest loan.
Rangel, who heads the powerful Ways and Means Committee, asked the House Ethics Committee to look into his use of the villa as well as other allegations of impropriety.
