Developer Bruce Ratner announced Monday that the Atlantic Yards project is moving forward.
The company released new images of their revised design for the 22-acre site on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
The designs include a revision of a building that was originally called "Miss Brooklyn." It will now be called Building 1.
Initially designed to be the tallest building in the borough, the office building will now stand at 34 stories, just shorter than the Williamsburgh Savings Bank across the street.
The new designs also include a new arena for the Nets and a residential tower that will dedicate 50 percent of its units to low- and middle-income residents.
Despite a slow down that Ratner blamed on a lengthy public review process, an exhausting number of court challenges, and the slowing economy, he said the project is back on track to be completed by 2018.
He also planned to break ground on the basketball arena this year.
