Staten Island-Brooklyn Congressman Michael Grimm has endorsed Mitt Romney in his run for president.
Grimm said Romney is in the best position to win the Republican nomination and beat President Barack Obama as he seeks re-election next year.
The congressman also praised Romney's private sector and executive experience and says he has the leadership qualities the country wants.
Reacting to the endorsement, a group of supporters of Republican president candidate Ron Paul will gather in front of Grimm's office tonight.
Paul's supporters call Romney a "neo-conservative" and charge him with helping to design the so-cared "ObamaCare" health care model in Massachusetts
