The White House said Friday that President Barack Obama will not meet with the Iranian president when the United Nations General Assembly convenes next week in Manhattan.

A top advisor said she does not expect Obama to have any "direct engagement" with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Both men will be attending Monday's session.

Ahmadinejad recently lashed out again at Israel and the West, questioning whether the Holocaust actually happened.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said the Obama administration condemns those remarks.
