Koch Returns Home Following Month-Long Hospital Stay

Former Mayor Ed Koch is now recovering at home after spending more than a month in the hospital.
The 84-year-old Koch had been hospitalized since mid-June, when he underwent a heart valve replacement and a quadruple bypass. He also had successful gallbladder surgery during his stay.
The NY1 Wise Guy has received phone calls from former President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and President Barack Obama while in the hospital.
