Federal prosecutors will reportedly seek jail time for former State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno, who was convicted on two felony corruption charges earlier this month.

The Daily News is reporting the feds will recommend prison for the 80-year-old.

Prosecutors say Bruno deprived the public of honest services by steering state contracts and grants to businesses that paid him, accusing him of pocketing over $3 million.

Bruno has said he will appeal his conviction.

He faces up to 20 years in jail on each count.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 31st.
