A Queens graffiti artist was arrested Friday after a witness with a cell phone camera caught him in the act of defacing a subway car.
A subway rider took a picture of Andrew Morello scratching graffiti into the glass of an N train Monday.
Police picked up the 18-year-old at his home in Briarwood Friday. Authorities say the suspect fought back when officers tried to handcuff him and injured a police officer's wrist.
Morello faces charges of resisting arrest, criminal mischief, making graffiti and possession of graffiti instruments.
If you want to send in a cell phone picture of a crime, call 911 and tell the operator you want to report a crime and have a picture. A detective will then provide instructions on how to send the picture.
