The Department of Health is investigating why more than a dozen students became sick at a Brooklyn school Friday.
Emergency crews arrived at PS 115 in Canarsie after receiving a report that children were suffering from food poisoning.
Twelve people were taken to the hospital. Six people were checked out at the school and refused medical attention.
Department of Education officials say the children who became sick were all from the same classroom.
They say they're looking into whether a virus may be to blame, because most of the 500 students who were served school lunch did not become sick.
