A Bronx teenager is facing reckless endangerment charges after officials say she pepper-sprayed some of her fellow students and the principal of her high school on Monday.
Department of Education officials say the Monday afternoon attack resulted in the hospitalization of at least four students from Banana Kelly High School in Longwood.
About 15 students and the principal were treated at the scene.
The building was evacuated for more than an hour.
"I fainted, and my friend back here fainted, and a lot of people were sick, like had headaches, and a lot of people had asthma," said one student.
"It was just a scary situation because no one knew what was going on," said another.
The arrested student's name has not been released.
