A Brooklyn middle school teacher is proclaiming her innocence after being arrested for allegedly raping a student.
Claudia Tillery, 42, was arraigned and released without bail early Thursday morning.
She's being charged with a criminal sexual act, unlawful dealing of drugs and alcohol to a child, and sexual misconduct.
Tillery's attorney claims the accuser was arrested several times and is optimistic the case will be dismissed.
The Department of Education said Tillery has been a teacher at MS 35 in Bedford-Stuyvesant since 1996.
She has been removed from her class pending the results of the investigation.
