The last of the city schools closed over flu fears reopened today.

Students shuffled in this morning at P.S. 15K and Pave Academy Charter School, which share a building in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Those on staff said it was nice to be back.

"You know, we only have a few days left, so it's good to be back," said one staff member. "And hopefully everyone's fine and there were no confirmed cases, so we should be good."

"Well, I'm confident that the cleaning crew really cleaned the school and made everything safe, otherwise we wouldn't be going back to school," said Pave Academy Charter School Dean of Students Malene Lawrence.

While the parents who spoke with NY1 said they felt confident bringing their children back to school, there was still a little uneasiness.

"It makes me nervous, but I'm quite sure the city knows what it's doing so," said Pave Academy Charter School parent Robert Torres.

"I didn't really want my mom to bring him to school today, but she really didn't want him to miss a day of school, but I'm concerned about his health," said P.S. 15 parent Corartha Edwards.

"I'm pretty confident in the school," said Miguel Rodriguez, another P.S. 15 parent. "They are pretty good here, so hopefully everything will turn out alright."

P.S. 209X in the Bronx also reopened today.

"As long as the school is clean and safe, I'm fine with it," said P.S. 209X parent Tasha Vega.

"I'm very happy," said Lisette Mercardo, another P.S. 209x parent. "I'm just hoping that they cleaned the school properly."

The city closed the schools last Tuesday, but none of the schools had any confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus.

This is the first time in weeks all public schools are open after the city began shutting them down because of high number of students with flu-like symptoms.
