The new underground mall at the World Trade Center Site is drawing some high-end retailers.

Developers say 80 percent of the space is now accounted for, with retailers such as Apple, Michael Kors and Kate Spade signing leases.

The $1.4 billion project is expected to open next year and replaces the mall that was destroyed on September 11, 2001.

The mall is located in the new transportation hub, which is expected to see more than 200,000 commuters daily.
