Giants quarterback Eli Manning led the "March For Babies" through Manhattan Sunday to support infant health.
The March of Dimes event started off with a ceremony on the Upper West Side.
Families shared their experiences with premature births and other infant health issues.
Many said they were grateful to have the support of so many marchers.
"It's a form of having closure, also, for the families, and having them understand that they're not alone and that so many other people are on the same boat as they are," said one person at the march.
"We're extremely grateful that people support our family and every other premature baby," said another.
"It definitely does bring hope because it shows that if it does happen, you can make it this time," said a third.
Time Warner Cable News NY1 was a proud sponsor of the march.
