Police are investigating after a man was stabbed on a subway platform in Manhattan early Wednesday.

The 52-year-old victim was attacked inside the 1 train station at 18th Street and Seventh Avenue in Chelsea shortly before 6 a.m.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and police have not given a motive for the attack.
