Police on Saturday arrested a man who they say brought a loaded gun onto a train and then fell asleep.

Investigators say they received a call from the conductor of an N train shortly after 7 a.m. after a woman noticed a man sleeping with a weapon on his waistband.

When the train pulled into the Times Square station officers entered the train and say they found 19-year-old Demarrius Jackson asleep at the rear of the car.

They say he had a loaded 9-millimeter handgun in his hand.

Jackson, of Columbia, South Carolina, faces various weapons charges.
