The man accused by police of pushing another man off a Manhattan subway platform Friday is being held without bail.

Investigators say 57-year-old Rudralall Baldeo pushed 72-year-old Shou Quan Lin onto the A train tracks at the 145th Street station Friday afternoon.

Lin remains hospitalized.

He was helped back up onto the platform by fellow straphangers just before the next train arrived.

Baldeo, who police say is homeless, has been charged with attempted murder and felony assault.

He was arraigned at around 1 a.m. Sunday and is due back in court on Wednesday.

NY1 spoke to Lin's wife, Qiu Hua Xiang, through an interpreter at her Chinatown church.

She said that she is praying Lin will get better and thanks everyone who helped him.

"I really appreciate and thank God for all the good people who helped him and also the church pastor and church brother sisters," she said. "They were all there last night."

Police are asking anyone who might have seen the incident to contact them.
