Subway suspensions caused major headaches for riders of multiple subway lines Thursday night.

West side Manhattan riders of the A, B, C and D lines were especially affected, leading to stalled trains and some seriously delayed passengers.

"They were saying it's stopped until 59th Street," said one commuter. "Everyone looked like they'd been waiting for six hours. People were standing on the stairs. It just looks like I'm never going to get home."

"Well, I just had to walk from 42nd Street-Bryant Park, what is that, like, 20 blocks or something like that, just to get to a 1 train," said another.
