Now that Citi Bike has taken off, a helmet company wants to help New Yorkers stay safe pedaling around the city.

Beginning Thursday, Citi Bike members can rent helmets from Bike and Roll NYC.

The helmets are $3 per day and $15 per week.

Citi Bike users requesting a helmet simply sign a waiver allowing Bike and Roll to track the helmets being used.

Citi Bike users can request a helmet at one of their 10 locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including Brooklyn Bridge Park, Central Park, Riverside Park, East River Park, Battery Park and Pier 84.

Every returned helmet will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before being rented out again.
