With the big game just days away, local stores are cashing in with the sale of Super Bowl related merchandise. NY1's Roger Clark visited one retailer that's been transformed to cater to out of town football lovers and filed the following report.

Is this Denver? Is it Seattle? Nope, just the Modell's flagship store near Times Square, which has gone all out for the title game.

"There's a lot of Seahawks and Broncos fans now and we have to cater the assortment to that," said Modell's Store Manager Will Perez.

Where you usually might find Giants and Jets related items, the store's main floor has been transformed into Super Bowl central, and that means shirts, hats, balls and even shot glasses. The store always does big business with tourists, and that will certainly continue to be the case this week.

"We expect a lot of people coming into town, and we expect as we get closer to the game and a lot of the tourists get in town for the game we definitely expect business to pick up," Perez said.

And provisions have been made for those visitors who may need an extra layer or two as another cold spell arrives in town.

"Not only did we stock up on the Seahawks and Broncos stuff, we also made sure that we stocked up on winter accessories, hand warmers, gloves, hats, things that we knew the tourists would be looking for especially with the weather being a little frigid," Perez said.

So fans have plenty to choose from, especially if they are rooting for one of the teams playing.

"I have to get some sweater, a jersey, something like that," said one football fan.

"I'm just going to buy some shirts and some hats, you know, spend some money in New York, it's probably our first and last time we are going to see it so might as well spend some money here," said another football fan.

Of course, fans of the local teams might feel like this is enemy territory now.

"Being in here is torture, Seattle, Denver, what are you going to do," said one New Yorker.

Of course during your shopping experience, if you really want to be warm while you are watching the game, don't forget to buy your Super Bowl Snuggie.
