Hollywood returns to the Hudson Wednesday for the 12th annual Tribeca Film Festival.
The 12-day long festival includes movies, discussions, and award ceremonies.
Eighty-nine feature films will premiere at a variety of theaters along with short films and other projects.
In honor of filmmaker Nora Ephron, who died last year, the festival will recognize a female writer or director with the first-ever Nora Ephron Prize.
The festival began in 2002 to help revitalize Lower Manhattan after the September 11th attacks.
