NY1 VIDEO: In June of 1997, the killing of Jonathan Levin, the son of Time Warner CEO Gerald Levin and a popular teacher at Taft High School in the Bronx, dominated the headlines. He was found shot and stabbed inside his apartment after failing to show up for school. NY1's Aram Roston filed the following report on June 3, 1997.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: Corey Arthur, a student who Levin had tried to help, would be charged with killing Levin after torturing him to get his ATM code. Arthur was convicted of second-degree murder and is serving a sentence of 25 years to life. His alleged accomplice was acquitted.
