The Pope may be stepping down, but some New Yorkers feel the occasion can still be a sweet one.

Artuso Pastry Shop in the Bronx is rolling out orders of its special Pope cookies.

The cookies use a printed image of Pope Benedict XVI, made of edible paper and food coloring.

They're a hit with customers, many of whom heard about the cookies by word of mouth.

"I'm curious, so I'm going to see. I would like, maybe there's going to be kind of sanctity inside, or what, you go to paradise? OK, I'll get it, said one.

The bakery first made the Papal pastries in 2008 to commemorate Pope Benedict XVI's visit to Yankee Stadium.
