Easter Sunday was the appropriate night to premier the new movie "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" at the Tribeca Film Festival, as the film deals with a rebirth of sorts for the founder of heavy metal music.

While Osbourne has starred in his own reality TV show, this new film reveals a new side to the man -- the story of his struggle for sobriety.

George Whipple: Do you think you'd be alive if you didn't sober up?

Ozzy Osbourne: I was just saying to my wife just the other day, nine out of every 10 guys I used to go drinking with, they're all dead.

Ozzy's son, Jack Osbourne, is the producer for the film. He was instrumental in getting the movie made and was Ozzy's inspiration for sobriety.

"It was weird, you know. We both kind of got sober around the same time and it was very hand-in-hand," says Jack Osbourne. "Addiction goes through all walks of life, you know, every social class, anything. And the thing I wanted to highlight is everyone's allowed a past and everyone can also try to make a difference tomorrow."

Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon and daughter Kelly are used to the spotlight.

Whipple: What is this obsession with your family?

Kelly Osbourne: I would like to know myself!

Sharon Osbourne: Why, because we're real. Why, because people can relate to us.

Whipple: How is this different from all the other work that's been done on the family?

Kelly Osbourne: Not that "The Osbournes" wasn't real, but this is the story behind the story. The stuff that people don't really know.

Sharon Osbourne: It's not a love-fest, put it that way! It's not how great is Ozzy. It's different.

Kelly Osbourne: It's a gritty truth.

Whipple: What are you scared of seeing?

Kelly Osbourne: Nothing!

Sharon Osbourne: Nothing! Nothing scares us!

Kelly Osbourne: You can't be afraid of who you are!

Ozzy Osbourne wasn't the only musical legend at Tribeca this year. Elton John was there and also a legend-to-be, Kings of Leon.
