It should now be a little easier for parents to enroll their children in school, as the Department of Education has opened 10 temporary registration centers across the city where parents can register their kids in public school programs.

The centers will stay open until September 12.

For the first time, there will also be staff at each site who can help families enroll their kids in pre-K programs.

Forms and information will be available in nine different languages.

The centers will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

For more information, parents should visit nyc.gov/schools.
