Authorities say it is too late to prosecute some educators suspected of sexually abusing students at Horace Mann School.
The Bronx district attorney says the statute of limitations has run out.
Officials say they found at least a dozen abusers had committed acts against students, from inappropriate contact to sexual intercourse.
The abuse allegedly occurred between 1962 and 1996.
The DA's office says it has uncovered more than 25 alleged victims, but says too much time has passed to prosecute under state law.
NY1 reached out to the school for comment.
