A $22,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the death of a Brooklyn teenager last month.
Chanel Petro-Nixon’s body was found June 22 inside a bag on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights. The Medical Examiner determined the 16-year-old was strangled.
"Any detail is crucially important to our investigation, whether it is direct information about the nature of the crime or simply someone who saw Chanel walking down the street,” said Lt. David Stein. “We want to speak to everyone."
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
