One of the men arrested for sending illegal guns through the mail to a buyer in the city appeared before a judge Friday.
Mark Winston, 39, was arraigned after being extradited from Georgia.
Winston, along with his alleged accomplice, Walter Dandridge, face multiple weapons and conspiracy charges.
Police say Winston would send the guns to Dandridge, who then sold them in the city.
A total 49 guns were bought by an undercover detective.
Both Winston and Dandridge face 25 years in prison if convicted on the most serious charge.
