A former New York City police officer has been sentenced to six months in jail for falsifying police records.

A jury ruled that Isaias Alicea lied when he arrested two men in Harlem last year, saying he saw them make a drug transaction.

Alicea filed that story in his police report.

Jurors said video evidence proved a drug deal never took place.
