Grand jury indictments of three suspects in connection with the police shooting of a Bronx man were announced Friday, while his family calls for justice against the responding officer.

Orlando Ramos, Ernesto Delgado and Christopher Dorsey have pleaded not guilty to the felony murder of Reynaldo Cuevas.

Prosecutors say they robbed a Morrisania bodega at gunpoint on Sept. 7 and are responsible for his death.

Surveillance video captures Cuevas, who worked inside the bodega, fleeing and then running into an officer responding to the scene.

The officer had his gun drawn and the impact apparently caused it to go off.

Cuevas' family says they're satisfied the three suspects are being brought to justice, but they also say the officer should face charges as well.

"The police officer, he killed my brother," said Nicole Cuevas, Reynaldo's sister. "He took my brother's life, and it's not fair how they want to just call it an accident without doing any further investigation. He should as well be prosecuted."

The Bronx District Attorney says the officer's actions are still being reviewed. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
