Time Warner Cable reached a new carriage fee deal with Viacom late last night that will keep Viacom channels on Time Warner Cable systems.
The cable company's deal came so late that Viacom had already taken out newspaper ads in today's papers, seen above, announcing that Viacom channels have been pulled from Time Warner Cable. In fact, the channels are still there.
The deal settles an increase in the monthly fee Viacom gets from Time Warner to carry 19 channels, including MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Noggin and Comedy Central.
There's no word yet on the specifics of the agreement between the two companies.
Time Warner Cable is the parent company of NY1.
