A window washer fell to his death while working in Manhattan Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Robert Domaszowec, 49, fell from the 12th floor of the building on Fifth Avenue near Union Square and died at the scene.

"Around 4:30 p.m. I hear the people screaming, screaming and screaming call the police. I see the body fell down from 12th floor,” said one eyewitness.

“We were on the platform going down, we're thinking it's like wood or some metal. But we come down and we saw the guy on the floor," said another.

As of Tuesday night, police were still investigating the incident.
