The Spitzer administration is denying a report that says evidence in the so-called Choppergate scandal may have been erased from staff computers.
Sources tell the New York Post that state computer experts have made those allegations to a State Senate Committee.
They reportedly say hard drives were purged and key files deleted.
Spitzer is being investigated for allegedly ordering the state police to keep travel records on State Senate Majority leader Joe Bruno.
The governor's office calls the allegations absolutely and completely false, saying, "nothing could be farther from the truth."
