A Staten Island man connected to the death of two Staten Island detectives was sentenced Friday.

Omar Green received 22 years to life for his part in the murders of Detectives James Nemorin and Rodney Andrews in March of 2003.

Green pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges after police say he set up the gun buy and bust that led to the murders.

The gunman, Ronnell Wilson was sentenced to death in federal court in March. Wilson's lawyers say they are appealing that decision. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
