Manhattan's only golf course will re-open for a celebrity tournament this fall.

The nine-hole course on Governor’s Island will be used for the Manhattan Golf Classic.

Tees and pins will be rearranged after nine holes to play a second nine.

In addition to the celebrities, there will be a Skins Game competition featuring eight-time LPGA Player of the Year Annika Sorenstam, as well as one of the top U.S. players in the world, Natalie Gulbis.

Organizers of the event will pay $75,000 to rent the island for the four-day tournament, which tees off October 22nd. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
