A wake was held Thursday in Manhattan for the 2-year-old boy who died after falling out of his apartment window last weekend.

Family and friends of Jonathan Sanchez gathered at St. Catherine's Church in Hamilton Heights to pay their last respects. A funeral is planned for Friday at the same church.

Sanchez died after plummeting six stories from this building on Saturday. The city Department of Health said the window guard was not properly installed.

Sanchez was one of four children citywide who have fallen from windows or roofs in the past month. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
