Mayor Michael Bloomberg is traveling to Croatia later this week to promote the city's bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

The mayor said Monday that he and a group of advisers will travel to the city of Dubrovnik on Friday to present the city's bid to a group of European Olympic committees.

At the conference, representatives from candidate cities are allowed to meet with members of the International Olympic Committee.

London, Paris, Madrid and Moscow are also competing to host the 2012 Games. The International Olympic Committee will announce its choice in July. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
