The revitalization continues in Lower Manhattan, as 730 state employees get set to move their offices downtown.

Governor George Pataki says the move shows Albany's commitment to rebuilding.

The Department of Health and the Public Service Commission plan to relocate 625 workers to 90 Church Street. They will occupy about 250,000 square feet of office space.

In addition, the Department of Transportation is moving 105 employees into 199 Water Street.

The state leases more than 1.7 million square feet of space in Lower Manhattan and has 5,685 people working downtown. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
