The Red Cross announced Wednesday it is making $$50 million in grants available for programs that provide long-term relief from the September 11 attacks.

So far, Mount Sinai Medical Center is getting $$1.5 million to help people still suffering the after-effects of working at the World Trade Center site.

The Red Cross is encouraging other organizations to apply for funding.
