The Port Authority says three different planes reported bird strikes Wednesday morning coming into LaGuardia Airport.

The affected planes include two Delta flights and an Express Jet plane.

All three were able to land safely with no damage to the aircraft.

No injuries were reported.

Bird strikes can cause severe damage to planes and be extremely dangerous.

It's been more than five years since the "Miracle on the Hudson," when a bird strike forced a plane taking off from LaGuardia to make an emergency landing on the Hudson River.
