Atlantic City's Revel Hotel and Casino begins shutting down today after barely two years in business.
The $2.5 billion resort will close its hotel today and its casino tomorrow.
Revel opened in April 2012 but never turned a profit and couldn't find any buyers willing to
keep it open as a casino.
Revel's closure comes a day after the Showboat Casino Hotel shut its doors after 27 years on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Another Atlantic City casino, the Trump Plaza, is set to close on September 16.
