Today is your last chance to enjoy the city's beaches and outdoor pools before they close for the season.
Lifeguards will be on duty at city beaches from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. before calling it a summer.
Outdoor pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For more information, go online to nyc.gov/parks.
The last day for pools and beaches this summer also comes on Labor Day.
Labor Day is a federal holiday and that means closings and service changes around the city today.
All courts, financial markets, banks and schools are closed.
There's also no garbage or recycling pickup.
Alternate side of the street parking rules are suspended and you don't have to feed the parking meters.
Subways, buses, the Staten Island Railway, Long Island Rail Road, and Metro-North are all running on Sunday schedules.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has also suspended all routine construction and maintenance work on its bridges and tunnels through tomorrow's morning rush.
