A man and woman were injured in a shooting at a Brooklyn liquor store Friday night.

Police say it happened on Mother Gaston Boulevard near the corner of New Lots Avenue in Brownsville.

They say someone walked by the store and fired shots just after 11 p.m.

Two people were hit. A 19-year-old man is in critical condition. A 20-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital, but has been released.

Police say it appears the two victims had no connection to the store. The investigation is ongoing. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
