A man is in the hospital after being shot in Downtown Brooklyn Wednesday.
Police say a 25-year-old man was struck in the head and leg around 2 p.m. on the corner of Livingston Street and Nevins Street.
Police arrested the suspect and recovered his gun at the scene.
The victim is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
Witnesses say he seemed fine despite his injuries.
"He was good. He was not bad," said one witness. "He got a shot right here, and one in the top and the other one here in the leg, but he was good."
"He dropped the gun and then he ran around the corner, but they caught him," said another witness.
The shooting took place across the street from a parole office.
The investigation is ongoing.
