Police are searching for a man in connection with two forcible touching incidents in Brooklyn.

The first happened on August 5 at the intersection of 17th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Police say the man grabbed a 28-year-old woman and ran off.

On August 19, police say a 25-year-old woman heading home near the Prospect Avenue subway station was also grabbed.

Some Sunset Park residents were on edge when they heard about the attacks, while others appeared unfazed.

"It's scary. I feel totally unsafe," said one resident. "I feel like I can't even take the train station here anymore, like, maybe I should walk a couple blocks to 25th Street or something."

"You always got to watch your back, but I haven't seen anything. I haven't seen that happen, so no, I'm not personally that worried about it," said another.

The suspect has a medium complexion, is between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
