The hunt is on for a man who police say robbed three separate women within hours of each other in the same part of the Bronx last week.

All three incidents happened Friday morning near Brown Place and East 136th Street in Mott Haven.

Police say the suspect placed an unknown object to the first victim's side, then stole her cell phone.

About two hours later, he did the same thing to the second victim and took her watch.

She started screaming for help when he tried to take her purse from the stroller she was pushing.

He let go when he saw another woman walking, then grabbed that woman's cell phone and ran off.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
