New York is encouraging veterans to go back to school under a new state law.

Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill allowing veterans to pay in-state tuition rates at colleges and universities across New York, even if they wouldn't otherwise qualify.

Another provision makes it easier for military spouses to automatically transfer some professional licenses from other states.

It also allows children of service members who are posted to New York to transfer their records to a new school. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
