Police have released surveillance video of a man wanted for an attempted rape in Harlem earlier this week.

Investigators say the man approached a 41-year-old woman outside of a residential building on Tuesday.

They say he then followed her inside, where she was able to fight him off and he ran away.

The suspect is believed to be in his mid 20's and is described as being between 5'8" and 5'10" tall.

He was last seen wearing black shorts and a green shirt with a number "4" on it.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
