Relatives and friends are mourning the loss of a Bronx cab driver.
Aboubacar Bar was allegedly killed by a group of four men in Hunts Point early Tuesday morning.
Bar's family and friends say he was an honorable person and was just trying to support his wife and children in Guinea, who he has not seen for more than 20 years.
"All he was trying to do was just make a living and help out his family back home," said one person who knew Bar. "He was a very great man."
"It even discouraged me to work, because that was like me," said another. "Look, I'm a father of six. Something like that happens to you, how these kids could manage their life? It's very dangerous job. Very dangerous."
"I'm very sad. I'm very sad," said a third. "I know the guy very, very, very well, and he's a very, very good man."
Surveillance video shows Bar's alleged killers fleeing the scene.
The 62-year-old is the second TLC driver to be killed on the job in less than a week.
Taxi organizations are now calling for increased protection for their drivers.
