A bicyclist has died after being struck by a private ambulette in Queens Wednesday.

Police say shortly before 10 a.m., a man in his 60s who was riding his bike north on Parsons Boulevard was hit as he was turning onto 37th Avenue.

Neighbors say they saw a lot of police around in the aftermath.

"I didn't come outside to see what happened, but I heard it, and when I passed by, I saw the police. Everybody was there trying to find out what's going on," said one person at the scene.

The bicyclist has not yet been identified.

He was pronounced dead at Booth Memorial Hospital.
