The city will begin its next round of aerial spraying this week to prevent West Nile virus in parts of Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx.

Weather permitting, it will take place this Friday and then continue on Monday and Tuesday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The city Health Department says the virus has been detected in every borough except the Bronx.

Spraying will take place in several Staten Island neighborhoods, including Fresh Kills and Arlington.

Spraying will also take place in Queens neighborhoods including College Point and Linden Hill, as well as Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx.
